Shadows Over Sedge – 60x32x2 inches, oil on stretched Belgium linen.

Painted from smaller studies done in Jekyll Island, GA, earlier this month. The constant changes skyward impact the sedge and salt-marshes overall, causing tremendous color shifts in a single afternoon. I am as fascinated by the history of Jekyll Island, as I am with its changing light.
