This contemporary loose painting was created from smaller studies done in Jekyll Island, GA, earlier this month. The constant changes skyward impact the spartina and salt-marshes overall, causing tremendous color shifts in a single afternoon and evening. I am as fascinated by the history of Jekyll Island, as I am with its changing light.
