Inspired by the explosion of color at Vickery Creek, Roswell, GA. This work is influenced by the rapidly changing color and texture in the landscape around Roswell Mill and Vickery Creek, Roswell, GA as Spring outbursts in an array of colors.
This painting is part of a new series Terra Firma, which richly explores the land and terrain, expressed in heavy texture, bold mark-making, and evocative color and light. This work examines dramatic weather over the landscape through a variety of visual gestures.
